Ab Cuts Sleek and Lean CLA Shake Review
Looking for fast weight loss? Ab Cuts hopes you won’t look farther than Sleek and Lean CLA Shake, a new weight loss supplement designed to produce modest weight loss in less than a month.
According to advertisements, this shake suppresses appetite and supports muscle health and tone.
I like products that are up-front about their moderate weight loss aims. But at $39.99, Sleek and Lean CLA Shake seems rather expensive for a product that only delivers modest improvements. What does Sleek and Lean CLA Shake provide that could be worth so much? I intend to find out.
Who Makes the Ab Cuts Line?
If you didn’t stumble across Sleek and Lean CLA Shake on your own, you probably heard about because the Ab Cuts line is one of the most popular, widely-sold weight loss brands available. Does Ab Cuts deserve this popularity? And are its business practices in line with what it advertises?
To answer that question, we have to investigate the folks behind Ab Cuts.
Ab Cuts is manufactured and developed by Corr-Jensen, a supplement company based in Centennial, Colorado. This company has been around since 2005, a pretty impressive record for a supplement company. What’s more, Corr-Jensen has managed to maintain an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. There are no complaints currently on file, either.
Many players in the supplement company aren’t as honest. This makes a company like Corr-Jensen a good find. But is their new product as impressive as their reputation? To determine that, we have to look at the Sleek and Lean CLA Shake formula.
What’s in Ab Cuts Sleek and Lean CLA Shake?
Ab Cuts Sleek and Lean CLA Shake contains more than 30 individual ingredients. Unfortunately, there is no information on ingredient quantity, which makes it hard to judge effectiveness here.
You can find a copy of the nutrition label on the product’s listing on GNC.com, but for now I’ll highlight the 4 ingredients Corr-Jensen chooses to showcase.
Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA)
The namesake for Sleek and Lean CLA Shake, CLA is a group of chemicals found in linoleic acid. It is said to improve immune function and reduce body fat deposits while preserving lean muscle mass. Some modest weight loss has been observed in clinical studies involving CLA . CLA is also non-stimulating, which means it doesn’t come with the same side effects attached to most fat burners.
A chemical from red raspberries, raspberry ketone is believed to boost metabolism and burn fat. In 2004, a study involving overweight mice showed significantly lowered fat mass in mice fed raspberry ketone . However, raspberry ketone has not yet been tested in humans so it’s hard to say whether this ingredient will be effective.
L-carnitine is an amino acid with impressive weight loss properties. While it has never been studied specifically for weight loss, it is proven to reduce fat mass, increase muscle, and support energy production . These are 3 attributes that go a long way to improve weight loss potential.
This herbal extract contains the chemical forskolin, which increases lean body mass and reduces fat. In a 2005 study, subjects taking forskolin saw a significant decrease in their body fat percentage and fat mass . Forskolin also prevents obesity-related conditions like heart disease and angina.
As advertised, Sleek and Lean CLA Shake contains some good ingredients that are likely to lead to modest weight loss, but nothing more. I like that each ingredient is scientifically-proven, but I’d prefer to see more information on ingredient quantities. There isn’t even a total amount given for each serving size, making it even more difficult to judge effectiveness.
How Do You Use Sleek and Lean CLA Shake?
Manufacturers recommend you consume 1-2 shakes per day, depending on your protein needs. You can drink these shakes on their own or as a meal replacement.
Making them is fairly simple. You’ll mix 1 scoop of Sleek and Lean CLA Shake powder with 6-8 ounces of water, milk, or another beverage. Shake or stir until the powder is completely dissolved.
The powder is dark chocolate-flavored, so you may want to choose your beverage with this in mind.
Corr-Jensen also recommends diet and exercise for the best results with Sleek and Lean CLA Shake.
Is It Expensive?
As previously mentioned, Sleek and Lean CLA Shake is priced at $39.99 per 1.1 pound-tub. Right now, it’s only available on GNC.com, where you can get an $8 discount by purchasing with a GNC Gold Card.
According to Corr-Jensen, each tub contains about 20 servings. This is about $2 a serving, which wouldn’t be too bad if Ab Cuts Sleek and Lean delivered more impressive weight loss results.
As it is, I don’t think Sleek and Lean CLA Shake is outrageously priced, but there are other that deliver more for the same price.
Should You Try Ab Cuts Sleek and Lean CLA Shake?
Ab Cuts Sleek and Lean CLA Shake isn’t a bad deal if you’re looking for a modest weight loss booster to keep you full throughout the day. However, it isn’t going to work wonders. If you can afford it, it might be worth giving this product a try.
