Acai Berry Detox Review
“Flush out excess pounds!” If you’ve ever seen the Acai Berry Detox page, then you’re probably familiar with its over-the-top claims about the miraculous effects of the Acai berry.
Manufacturers would have you believe that this detoxifying formula will flush away toxins, reduce bloat, boost your metabolism and energy levels, and even shed those unwanted pounds.
Yet will it be enough to stimulate weight loss? Let’s take a closer look at this popular formula.
As its name implies, Acai is the main ingredient inside Acai Berry Detox. Studies have shown that this exotic South American fruit is loaded with antioxidants that can lengthen the lifespan of cells by eliminating harmful by-products from the body.
It has very few side effects, and when used correctly, the Acai berry may act as a digestive aid.
Unfortunately, the Acai berry is not as cracked up as it seems to be. Although it’s good for you and may make a good supplement to any healthy diet, the Acai is not clinically proven to promote weight loss – despite manufacturers’ claims.
Additionally, detox diet pills such as the Acai Berry Detox focus primarily on ridding the body of waste and water, rather than fat, meaning that your amazing weight loss results (if any) won’t be permanent, especially if you haven’t established healthy weight loss habits such as regular exercise and good eating decisions.
What Else You Should Know
The Acai Berry Detox uses a “free trial offer” to rope you in, giving you 15 days to determine if you like the product. This trial begin[s] on the day that you place an order for a product from the website and it’s calculated in calendar days, not business days.
Now for a little math.
Generally, your product is shipped 3 to 5 days after placing your order. Delivery time is subtracted from your free trial period, and will reduce the number of days allocated to your free trial period. Consequently, you get maybe 7 days, if you’re lucky, to try a product out that you really should have at least 30 days minimum.
If you don’t act fast, the manufacturers will start shipping you an $87.13 order every month, and many consumers have complained that the company is notorious for “missing” your calls and not shipping your products out on time, etc.
Chances are likely that you will have to cancel your credit card before you’ll be able to get the charges to stop – but that doesn’t give you back the money you’ve already spent.
We definitely recommend that consumers exercise a little caution before investing in this rather sketchy diet pill. Although Acai is definitely a healthy ingredient full of antioxidants, it isn’t enough to adequately boost your metabolism or burn more calories.
We feel that you would be better off looking for a formula that uses clinically proven weight loss ingredients, and if you’re absolutely insistent on having acai, find a formula that uses it as a complementary ingredient rather than its primary active ingredient.
