Alvidar Review

Alvidar

Calling itself a "gastric bypass in a bottle", Alvidar is a "thyroid boosting", fat burner. Their marketing rests mainly on the supposed "prevalence" and dangers of thyroid disorders as well as listing a number of supposed side effects, quite a few of which you are likely to experience.

Ingredients and Mechanism of Action

Ingredients include kelp, bladderwrack, saw palmetto, garlic, gentian, meadowsweet, valerian, St. John's Wort, ginger, cayenne, echinacea, gingko biloba, and ginseng. While these are interesting, only two of them have anything to do with the thyroid: kelp and bladderwrack, due to their high iodine content. And iodine alone will not cure a serious medical issue such as an underactive thyroid.

Overall Impression of Alvidar:

An underactive thyroid, especially in the extreme is a serious medical condition. It is not nearly as common as Alvidar would like you to think, but it does happen. In fact, severe cases afflict only a few individuals. The natural supplements industry has not actually come out with a valid treatment for this condition as of yet. But the first step toward success in that area would be to admit that it is relatively uncommon.
