African Mango Super Fruit Diet Review
When I first heard about African Mango Super Fruit Diet, I thought it was a diet. But this claim on GNC.com set me straight: “Lose up to 28 lbs. with this box!”
African Mango Super Fruit Diet is a diet pill, but it includes a diet plan.
I was curious to see if the diet pill and diet plan actually work. So, I did the research. Now, all you have to do is decide whether to try African Mango Super Fruit Diet or not.
Who Makes It?
BioGenetic Laboratories makes African Mango Super Fruit Diet and iSatori Technologies provides the customer service. I couldn’t find any background information on BioGenetic Laboratories. All I know is they make three products:
• HCG Activator
• African Mango Super Fruit Diet
• Razberri Ketone-Slim
• iSatori Belly Off
• gcb LEAN 800
iSatori is a well-known name in supplementing. But they don’t make or sell African Mango Super Fruit Diet. Instead, iSatori made BioGenetic Laboratories, who makes this diet pill. iSatori also provides customer service for the BioGenetic Laboratories products.
I emailed iSatori to learn more about the company’s connection to African Mango Super Fruit Diet. But they responded saying, “Unfortunately we are unable to locate your account using the information you have provided us.” They did not provide answers to any of my questions.
So, it appears iSatori only provides customer service to people who are already customers. I’ve never run into this problem with a diet pill company before.
The Diet Pill
African Mango Super Fruit Diet contains IGOB131, which is an African mango extract. Research shows it reduces body weight, body fat, and waist size. It works by boosting metabolism and suppressing appetite.
These antioxidant and nutrient-rich ingredients are also found in the formula:
• Elderberry powder
• Acai berry powder
• Pomegranate fruit powder
• Aronia berry powder
• Blueberry powder
• Green tea leaf extract (decaffeinated)
Antioxidants eliminate toxins and nutrients are good for your health. However, these ingredients–except green tea–do not burn fat or suppress appetite.
Researchers say green tea burns fat and reduces cravings because it contains caffeine and catechins. Since African Mango Super Fruit Diet uses decaffeinated green tea, I’m not sure how effective it will be at burning fat.
What Dosages Are Used?
Each serving (2 capsules) contains 240 mg. The company says to take 2 servings daily. I don’t know what the individual dosages are because they are not shown. But I’m doubtful that two servings contain proven dosages. Here’s why:
The proven IGOB131 dosage is 300 mg a day. Green tea’s proven dosage is 300-400 mg a day. The remaining 7 ingredients also require specific dosages, which make the required total dosage even higher.
Two African Mango Super Fruit Diet servings need 600-700 mg of IGOB131 and green tea to be effective. Since two servings only provide 480 mg total, chances are low the proven dosages are used.
Three servings (720 mg) provide a larger total dosage. But I still don’t know if this amount contains proven dosages. Furthermore, taking more than the recommended dosages could increase side effects.
The Diet Plan
African Mango Super Fruit Diet’s Facebook page says, “The Super Fruit Diet protocol (provided free, inside every purchase) is a fun and healthy eating plan to be used in conjunction with African Mango Super Fruit Diet.”
I also found the statement, “scientifically designed Super Fruit Diet plan.” But I couldn’t find any more information about this diet. So, I don’t know how safe, effective, or healthy it is. Unless I know more about the diet, I don’t feel confident recommending it.
The Official Website
AfricanMangoSuperFruitDiet.com is the official website, but it doesn’t look very professional or reliable. MangoSuperFruitDiet.com looks better and provides more information.
Two things caught my eye on MangoSuperFruitDiet.com: a free trial offer and a money back guarantee.
14-Day Free Trial
Provide your contact information and card number to start the free trial. You will receive a free African Mango Super Fruit Diet bottle, but you must pay $4.97 for shipping. The trial starts the day you sign up and your free bottle may take 3-7 days to arrive.
If you decide you don’t want the diet pill, cancel before day 14. After cancelling, return the bottle. You won’t receive a refund for shipping costs. If you don’t cancel, you will be charged $89.99 on day 14.
To cancel, call 1-888-752-6615. I also recommend reading the free trial section in the Terms & Conditions on MangoSuperFruitDiet.com.
30-Day Money Back Guarantee
To receive a full refund, return African Mango Super Fruit Diet within 30 days of your original purchase date. If you don’t return the bottle by day 30, the company will send you a new bottle and charge you $89.99 on day 45.
You will continue receiving free bottles and $89.99 charges every 30 days until you contact customer service and cancel future deliveries.
For return instructions, call or email customer service. The email address is email@example.com.
I found African Mango Super Fruit Diet reviews on a few different sites. But GNC.com has the most with 34. These consumers gave the diet pill an average 3.4/5 star rating. Only 57% would recommend it to others. Here’s what they liked or didn’t like:
• Easy to use and reduces hunger (25 people)
• Promotes weight loss (21 people)
• Doesn’t cause side effects (20 people)
• Works fast (15 people)
• Not effective (9 people)
• Causes side effects (4 people)
One consumer titled their review, “Diet is too restrictive,” but gave no other details. Another said, “The diet included for detox and cleansing is difficult but healthy. The plan requires a great deal of work in the kitchen as well.” I still need to know more about the diet before recommending it.
The official website only offers African Mango Super Fruit Diet through the free trial. I’m not an advocate of free trials because so many consumers report being deceived or overcharged. I didn’t find complaints about the African Mango Super Fruit Diet free trial specifically. But numerous past experiences make me skeptical of all free trials.
Buying African Mango Super Fruit Diet from these sites is the safest way to go:
• Drugstore.com: $38.99
• VitaminShoppe.com: $44.99
• GNC.com: $47.99
I’m not sure why African Mango Super Fruit Diet costs so much less on these sites. Whether you pay $38.99 or $89.99, you get 120 capsules.
Is African Mango Super Fruit Diet Worth Buying?
African Mango Super Fruit Diet contains two proven weight loss ingredients. But I doubt it contains proven dosages. A few users said it causes stomach upset, bloating, and nausea. But most don’t report any problems.
I don’t recommend using the free trial. It’s too short, too risky, and too pricey. You can buy African Mango Super Fruit Diet for less on other sites, but I don’t recommend this either.
I don’t know enough about the diet plan. What I do and don’t know about the diet pill doesn’t make me confident it will work. I recommend trying top-rated diet pills instead of African Mango Super Fruit Diet.
