Cal-Trim 1000 Review
Cal-Trim 1000 is a weight management supplement from Top Secret Nutrition. It promises to increase energy, maintain healthy glucose levels, and help you achieve efficient caloric absorption so weight loss is easier.
It is crucial to maintain proper glucose levels for weight loss because glucose affects appetite, energy, and fat storage. More fat is stored rather than burned when blood sugar levels are high. Thus, if Cal-Trim 1000 works and effectively regulates glucose, it could help you reach your weight loss goals.
However, Cal-Trim 1000 is not the first diet pill to make confident claims like these. Few products actually come through with the promises they make. Can Cal-Trim 1000 actually do what it says? Or are these claims just a bunch of hot air?
About Top Secret Nutrition
Top Secret Nutrition, according to the official website, is “committed to giving professional athletes and active adults alike the tools they need to look and feel their best.” This appears to be true, since the company employs pro athletes such as MMA fighter Mike Brown.
Top Secret Nutrition also claims to have “an unbending commitment to quality and ethics…[they] only use the best and safest ingredients and make every effort to ensure that [their] product claims are based on facts.”
A lot of supplement manufacturers promise to use safe, well-tested ingredients. However, few actually make ingredient safety a priority. Hopefully, Top Secret Nutrition will stick to their claims and use a safe formula in Cal-Trim 1000.
The Cal-Trim 1000 Ingredients
Let’s take a closer look at each part of the Cal-Trim 1000 formula to see how well it will work.
NeOpuntia reduces fat absorption, particularly around the stomach.
White Kidney Bean Extract
White kidney bean extract blocks carbohydrate digestion and neutralizes starches. This allows users to eat carbohydrates and maintain their weight.
InnoSlim is a patented blend of panax notoginseng and astragalus membranaceus. It reduces glucose absorption in the intestines and increases calorie burning.
Cal-Trim 1000 Formula Analysis
The first thing I noticed about the Cal-Trim 1000 formula is it only contains three ingredients. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it is a definite contrast from the leading diet pills that typically have long ingredient lists.
The second thing I noticed about the ingredients is that they are present in a proprietary blend. This means that on the Cal-Trim 1000 label, the ingredients are listed as part of a 2150 mg “Proprietary Calorie Absorption Blend.” None of the ingredients’ individual amounts are disclosed.
This presents a problem because ingredients are only safe and effective at specific dosages. For example, a diet pill needs at least 500 mg of white kidney bean extract to bring about effects. However, if a product contains too much white kidney bean extract, it may cause diarrhea and flatulence. Since Cal-Trim 1000 doesn’t disclose its white kidney bean extract dosage, I don’t know if it will be effective or if it will cause unpleasant side effects.
Potential Side Effects
Cal-Trim 1000 users may experience:
• Stomach pains
• Dry mouth
• Sleeping problems
Because the ingredient quantities are unknown, I’m not sure how severe these side effects are.
How to Use Cal-Trim 1000
To use Cal-Trim 1000, take two capsules 15 minutes before eating. Then take two more capsules 15 minutes after eating. Each bottle of Cal-Trim 1000 contains 60 capsules. Since you need to take four capsules per day, each bottle will only last you 15 days.
How to Buy Cal-Trim 1000
You can purchase a 60-count bottle of Cal-Trim 1000 directly from Top Secret Nutrition for $19.99. This 60-count supply is also available from these third-party vendors:
• Amazon.com: $21.00
• Bodybuilding.com: $13.53
• SupplementWarehouse.com: $16.99
• GNC.com: $13.99
Cal-Trim 1000’s Return Policy
Unfortunately, Cal-Trim 1000 doesn’t have a money-back guarantee. The Top Secret Nutrition terms and conditions state, “The materials and products on this site are provided ‘as is’ and without warranties of any kind.”
On the site’s help section, the only instructions given in regards to returning a purchase say, “Please contact customer service for more information on returning an item.”
I’m not impressed with Top Secret Nutrition’s return policy because they never actually say what it is. Manufacturers should disclose their return policies to assure consumers they’ll have an opportunity to get their money back if the product doesn’t work.
The Final Verdict
I don’t think you should try Cal-Trim 1000. It contains ingredients potentially capable of promoting weight loss, but the ingredients’ dosages and thus side effects and abilities are unknown.
Additionally, Cal-Trim 1000 does not come with a money-back guarantee. This means you can’t get your money back—even if you don’t like how the product works.
