Chia Seed Diet Review
Despite the promises of “dramatic weight loss” that come with diet pills, many people still chose to try special diets, like the Chia Seed Diet, to get in better shape.
Since experts say that changing what you eat is one of the best ways to lose and maintain weight anyways, trying a special diet program may not be a bad idea. But is the Chia Seed Diet one that you should try? Or should you try a diet pill like 7-DFBX that is designed to complement a healthy, balanced diet? Read on to find out…
What are Chia Seeds?
Back in the day, people in Latin America used chia seeds as frequently as they used corn or beans. They were a staple food that supposedly increased stamina and energy. In all actuality, chia got its name from the Mayan word for “strength”.
Chia seeds are considered to be SuperFoods. They deliver a maximum number of nutrients for the minimum number of calories. The main nutrients that you’ll find in chia seeds are fiber and protein, which are two of the best appetite suppressing ingredients around. Fiber also improves digestive functioning; and protein maintains muscle mass, which can get depleted during weight loss.
What is the Chia Seed Diet?
There are two reasons why people try the Chia Seed Diet. First, it is supposed to help them lose weight by suppressing their appetite, and thereby reducing the number of calories they eat. Second, the Chia Seed Diet should give users more natural energy so they can exercise more and be more active.
Unless you buy the book for the Chia Seed Diet, you may not be able to find very many details online. I wasn’t able to find anything which explained how often you’re supposed to eat chia seeds, how long the diet lasts, or how to lose the most weight while on this diet.
Pros of Chia Seed Diet

Cons of Chia Seed Diet
• In a 2009 study on chia seeds, 76 overweight men and women were split into two groups. One group was given 25 grams of chia seeds twice a day. The other group was given a placebo. At the end of 12 weeks, there was no significant difference between the groups in appetite or weight loss. Another team of researchers reviewed this study and came to the same conclusion: chia seed are a healthy addition to any diet, but they may not be the best thing to use if you want to lose weight.
Chia seeds are beneficial, but that doesn’t mean they can help you lose weight. So, I don’t recommend that you use the Chia Seed Diet. There are other special diets that you could try, but what I recommend is that you try 7-DFBX instead.
