“Lose weight in 10 days or you money back guaranteed!” declares CliniSlim.com. Many advertisers make similar claims to entice consumers. But too often, these claims are exaggerated or untrue.
Does CliniSlim actually work? Is it safe? At first I was very skeptical, but eventually my opinion changed. Let me share the research that convinced me CliniSlim isn’t just another hyped-up diet pill.
Is CliniSlim Really Guaranteed?
Not every guarantee is as good as it sounds. So before even looking at the ingredients, I researched the guarantee:
The official website says, “We’re that confident you’ll be amazed by the results. In the unlikely event that you’re not, you’ll get a full refund (less s/h).”
To get this refund, follow these two steps:
1. Contact customer service for return instructions and an RMA number
2. Return 1 fully used and any unused bottles within 90 days
You can contact customer service by…
• Phone – 866-916-1607
• Email – email@example.com
• Live Chat – visit Clinislim.com
I think this is a great guarantee. Not every company is willing to accept used products or give you so much time to return them.
A major difference between effective and hyped-up diet pills is clinical research. According to the company, CliniSlim is “formulated with 3 compounds scientifically proven to help you lose weight.”
I was already impressed with the clinically proven ingredients. But I became more impressed when I saw links to the studies on CliniSlim.com. So often, companies will say “clinically proven ingredients,” but they don’t offer any citations or proof.
Yerba mate, guarana, and damiana (YGD) were combined and tested in a double-blind trial. The study involved 47 overweight people who took YGD or a placebo for 45 days. The purpose was to see if YGD would suppress appetite and promote weight loss.
Ultrasound scans showed that YGD delayed gastric emptying 58 minutes (+/- 15 minutes) and the placebo delayed it 38 minutes (+/- 7 minutes). As a result, the participants taking the compound felt full for longer and were less hungry throughout the day.
Not only did YGD users lose an average of 17.6 pounds, they kept the weight off for 12 months after the study.
For eight weeks, 20 obese people were given glucomannan or a placebo before their three daily meals. They were also asked to maintain their usual diet and exercise habits.
Glucomannan is a fiber, so it delays gastric emptying. As a result, participants taking glucomannan reported greater satiety and less hunger.
In the end, glucomannan users lost 5.5 lbs and lowered their cholesterol levels. Their results were more significant than placebo users.
Garcinia cambogia, gymnema sylvestre, and chromium (GGC) make up this compound. There is a study referenced on CliniSlim.com, but it only involves garcinia cambogia. After researching, I found a study for all three ingredients:
Sixty obese people took GGC or a placebo for 8 weeks. They also ate a 2000 calorie diet and “participated in supervised walking.”
After 8 weeks, people taking GGC had lowered their body weight and BMIs by 5-6%. Their appetite, cholesterol, and triglycerides were also reduced. People taking the placebo had insignificant results.
Are the CliniSlim Ingredients Safe?
Yerba mate and guarana are safe, but they do contain caffeine. If you are sensitive to caffeine, you may experience headaches, stomach upset, restlessness, and insomnia.
Damiana is considered “likely” safe by WebMD.com.
Glucomannan powder and capsules are safe, but solid tablets may block the throat or intestines. CliniSlim uses capsules. Also, drinking water helps glucomannan dissolve faster. Participants who took glucomannan in the 8-week study did not experience any side effects.
WebMD.com says garcinia cambogia is “possibly safe for most people when used for 12 weeks or less.” Twelve weeks is the limit because no studies have lasted longer than this. Garcinia cambogia is a stimulant. It may cause nausea, digestive discomfort, and headaches.
Gymnema sylvestre is very safe. According to WebMD.com, most people could use it without problems for 20 months.
Chromium should be safe when used for 6 months or less. Some users experience headaches, dizziness, and nausea while taking chromium. But researchers haven’t proven chromium is the actual cause.
Directions for Use
One CliniSlim bottle holds 300 veggie capsules and lasts 30 days. This means you take 10 capsules a day. That’s a lot of pills to swallow! Luckily, you don’t have to take them all at once. For best results, take 3-4 capsules before each meal.
To be effective, CliniSlim’s ingredients must be included in proven dosages. Sometimes proven dosages are very large. I’ve seen companies reduce their dosages to cut down costs and capsule sizes. But this lessens the product’s effectiveness. Although it means users have to take 10 capsules a day, I’m glad to see CliniSlim makers haven’t skimped on the proven dosages.
Make sure to drink plenty of water while taking CliniSlim. Not only will it prevent dehydration, it improves the effectiveness of glucomannan. This fiber works by absorbing water and expanding to fill your stomach so you feel less hungry.
The official site sells 1 bottle for $59.95. If you buy 2 bottles, the cost is $99.95. Or three bottles cost $129.95 and shipping is free.
The company ships within one business day through FedEx or USPS. Orders placed in the U.S. should arrive within 2-5 days.
CliniSlim.com offers a great price, fast shipping, and an excellent guarantee. But if you want a lower price, I recommend checking out these sites:
• eSupplements.com: $55.99
• Supplementing.com: $56.99
Is CliniSlim One of the Best Diet Pills?
CliniSlim is not just another hyped up diet pill. In fact, I think it’s one of the best diet pills I’ve researched. Every ingredient has been clinically proven to promote weight loss. And CliniSlim contains the proven dosages.
The ingredients are all considered safe and natural. If you are sensitive to caffeine, you may experience side effects. But most people shouldn’t have any problems when taking CliniSlim.
Because CliniSlim has a proven, powerful formula, it’s not cheap. However, I think users will get their money’s worth. I highly recommend buying CliniSlim. Thanks to the guarantee, you can try CliniSlim risk free.
