Femme Slender is featured in More Magazine, which you might have heard of if you live in the UK, the only country in which it is sold. Femme Slender is a UK company of diet products meant for women of all ages and body types, which claims they are backed by scientific research. They are meant to be free of all side effects, but it begs the question, is weight loss considered to be a side effect? But interestingly enough, though they sell only in the UK, their labs are supposedly inspected twice yearly by the FDA. Contradictory yet? You may be familiar with some of their products including Body Beautiful, Couture Curves, Freedom, Glamorous, Slim-X, Slinky, and Pick N Mix. Their “proven ingredients” include some like 250mg l-carnitine, guarana, alpha lipoic acid, and chitosan. Since when are any of these “scientifically proven”? Chitosan is the only one even speculated to promote weight loss, and it is far from proven. Guarana may contribute to higher energy levels, but it has never been proven to promote weight loss, and the rest aren’t even speculated about.
