It contains the wonder ingredient ChromeMate chromium.” To their credit, ChromeMate is a patented, meaning scientifically proven and then isolated and more powerful form of chromium. They are found exclusively in the UK, and they don’t actually provide any information besides the fact that they apparently use ChromeMate. They do provide claims that it will help you lose fat and weight, enhance body weight, maintain weight, improve health, increase energy, improve metabolism, etc. Chromium has only been proven to enhance some of the body’s natural weight loss mechanisms in athletes, and even those results have been questionable in some cases. Either way, Formula 2001 is not proven to really promote weight loss in the average individual, and they know it, which is why they provide so little information. This could be why they went out of business as of December 6, 2008.
