Lipex II Review

A product to promote “accelerated weight loss”, Lipex 2 claims to burn fat fast, target trouble areas, control appetite, increase energy, and boost metabolism. According to the website, it uses yohimbine to encourage your body’s adipose tissue to release fat cells. Then it uses synephrine so your body can break down the released fat cells. Finally, coleus forskohlii boosts your body’s ability to burn the fat. In total, lipex 2 uses 300mg of caffeine, 25mg of coleus forskohlii, 20mg of synephrine, 5mg of yohimbine, 200mcg of chromium picolinate, and a 205mg proprietary blend including L-Tyrosine, white willow bark extract, N-Acetyl-L-Carnitine, DMAE, and tetrahydroxyflavone.

Ingredients and Mechanism of Action

The 3 major ingredients stressed by lipex 2: yohimbe, synephrine, and coleus forskohlii have been used in many popular diet products to promote weight loss. In addition, clinical trials showed that chromium picolinate produced significantly better weight loss results than a placebo when combined with diet and exercise. It also uses 300mg of caffeine, which will raise your body’s metabolism level and burn fat at a more efficient level. They also list several testimonials which include details such as name and location.

On the downside, while the 3 major ingredients in lipex 2 as well as chromium picolinate are effective, lipex 2 does not actually use high enough doses of 3 out of 4 of those ingredients to produce results. Yohimbine requires between 10-20mg per day for maximum effectiveness, and it is recommended users not take more than 40mg per day to avoid serious negative side effects. Lipex 2 provides 5mg. Coleus forskohlii requires 100-300mg per day for maximum effectiveness. Lipex 2 provides 25mg. And finally, scientists conducted weight loss studies using chromium picolinate in doses of 600mcg, which produced gradual but steady results. Lipex 2 provides a total of 200mcg of chromium.

Considering the fact that just about every ingredient which gives a milligram amount is grossly short, there is no reason to believe any of the ingredients in the proprietary blend are up to par. There is also the fact that white willow bark extract is another name for asprin, a pain killer that has nothing to do with promoting successful weight loss. Other ingredients such as N-Acetyl-L-Carnitine and DMAE promote better memory and mental altertness. But again they do nothing to promote successful weight loss. The only ingredients up to par are synephrine and caffeine. But synephrine has been linked to increased risk of ischemic stroke, increased blood pressure, and cardiace infarcts. High levels of caffeine, such as that contained in Lipex 2 often has harsh side effects including jitteriness, irritability, insomnia, and elevated heart beat.

Overall Impressions of Lipex 2

Lipex 2 appears to be nothing more than a glorified caffeine pill. It has other ingredients that have been used by multiple people to promote weight loss, but not nearly enough milligrams to produce the desired results. In addition, they use quite a few ingredients that in all actuality have no bearing on weight loss. $49.99 is not a cheap, grocery store price, and there is no money back or satisfaction guarantee.
