Lipo-6 CLA Review
Nutrex Research has released a new product: Lipo-6 CLA.
This supplement allegedly helps athletes lose fat and gain a leaner body. If it’s anything like the company’s original product, Lipo-6, which earned BodyBuilding.com’s Fat Loss Product of the
Year for 4 years in a row, then Lipo-6 CLA is an amazing product too.
I’m curious to learn what makes this product different and if it lives up to its forerunner’s success.
What Is CLA?
Lipo-6 CLA contains only one ingredient, CLA, or conjugated linoleic acid.
CLA is a group of chemicals found in the fatty acid linoleic acid and is typically used to treat obesity and create lean body mass.
For treating obesity, experts recommend 1.8-7 g daily. Doses larger than 3.4 grams per day do not seem to offer additional benefits. Lipo-6 CLA contains 1 g CLA (80%). This amount is less than the studies and slightly less than the recommended amount; however, Lipo-6 CLA is likely to have similar or slightly less pronounced effects.
There are no known side effects; however, some experts suggest CLA may worsen diabetes and increase chances of developing diabetes if metabolic syndrome already exists.
How Much Does Lipo-6 CLA Cost?
Nutrex Research sells Lipo-6 CLA for $16.95 for 90 softgels and $31.95 for 180 softgels at Nutrex.com.
BodyBuilding.com also sells 90 softgels for $15.65 or 180 softgels for $24.36.
MuscleandStrength.com currently has the best deal: buy two get one free, 90 softgels for $14.86.
What Are the Directions?
Nutrex Research recommends taking 1 softgel pill in the morning and 1 softgel pill in the evening, preferably with a meal.
Nutrex research suggests combining Lipo-6 CLA with exercise and other fat-loss products, such as the original Lipo-6 for best results.
How Is it Different From Other Lipo Products?
Nutrex Research creates several similar weight-loss products: Lipo-6, Lipo-6X, Lipo Unlimited, and Lipo-6 CLA. When one customer asked Nutrex Research how the products differed and which one the company ultimately recommended, Nutrex Research responded with this:
“All of our Lipo-6 formulas are very effective. Which one is best depends on personal preference. The original Lipo-6 and Lipo-6X are fairly similar formulas with the major difference being the multi-phase capsule that gives 6X a fast and slow release of the active ingredients, whereas Lipo-6 uses a fast acting liquid capsule. The unlimited is unique in that it includes ingredients that help to support dopamine production for a more upbeat/positive feeling, which is important while on a calorie restricted diet.” – Nutrex ResearchResearch, Inc., Facebook.com
Lipo-6 CLA is quite different from other Lipo-6 products as it is designed to be used in conjunction with other products and exercise. It does not contain any of the same ingredients found in the other products, so users will not be over-dosing.
Are There Any Reviews?
Nutrex Research has only recently released this product, and while no reviews are yet available, I gathered a few reviews left by customers regarding the company and some of its other products.
“Love your products because I know they work.” – Brian Perez, Facebook.com, (referring to T-UP, Creatine Drive, Hemo-Race, Lipo-6, Lipo-6 Carnitine, and Lipo-6 CLA)
“I have tried many fat burners in my “personal fitness battle” and all of them have fail. Lipo 6 unlimited has to be one of the best fat destroyers in the industry no questions asked!!! With this amazing product and a good clean diet I was able to drop over twenty pounds of just fat in 90 days. If your serious about your goals and your ready to compromise yourself to a good diet I would highly recommend you to add this product to your check list for the next trip to your local supplement store “ – 1986ggm, BodyBuilding.com
What Is Your Verdict?
Lipo-6 CLA is made by a reputable company with several other highly popular products. Its ingredient, conjugated linoleic acid, is well-researched and supported for fat loss. Though it does not currently have customer ratings and reviews, Lipo-6 CLA is affordable and offered for competitive prices.
Lipo-6 CLA is worth a try, but you may want to wait until more people have tried it.
