NV Review
Publicly endorsed by Carmen Electra, NV markets their product specifically toward women with statements like "Be sexy. Be confidential. Be desired with NV-the world's first rapid weight loss product with beauty enhancing properties." They use ingredients such as green tea extract and Hoodia gordonii, which they claim are clinically tested, as well as antioxidant ingredients.
Ingredients and Mechanism of Action
NV does contain caffeine anhydrous as well as green tea extract, stimulants which have been shown to promote weight loss in multiple users. It also uses silica, which as a horse hair extract promotes healthy skin, hair, and nails, as well as collagen, which is known to promote skin elasticity and the minimizing of wrinkles.
While NV would like to be the first supplement designed specifically for women, it is not. There are quite a few that came before it. Second, they claim to use hoodia gordonii, but considering that a significant amount more hoodia is sold than is actually harvested, it is unlikely to be the real thing. They also provide no certification to prove it even might be. The only ingredients in the mix proven to work for weight loss are caffeine anhydrous and green tea extract when used in portions of about 200-400mg each. NV uses a 560mg proprietary blend, and it contains 9 other ingredients each competing for their share of those few milligrams. The makers of NV provide no money back or satisfaction guarantee for unsatisfied users.
Overall Impression of NV:
NV focuses their advertising and marketing efforts on celebrities and their connections to Hollywood . They seem to do this to promote high prices and to distract from their formulation and other things that actually matter when choosing a diet supplement. Their formulation lacks in any substance, and it cannot back up even modest claims, let alone those made by NV.
