Optislim Meal Replacement Shakes Review
Take a “trip” to the Outback with Australian company Optislim, makers of a VLCD (Very Low Calorie Diet) program designed to help anyone drop their weight and keep it off for good. Optislim says that no matter how far you have to go, the VLCD program can help you reach your goals. The Optislim VLCD program offers VLCD soups and shakes that are both “delicious and nutritious” and a program that is easy to follow.
Shake or Stir and Go
The program is simple. Stir or shake and go. Both products are available in three flavors. You can purchase the soups in pumpkin, tomato or creamy chicken and shakes in chocolate, vanilla or espresso coffee.
The actual program itself start has three steps. Most people start with the most intensive step to get it out of the way first.
1. Accelerated Weight Loss – 3 VLCD Meal Replacement Products Daily (Replace every meal!)
2. Rapid Weight Loss- 2 VLCD Meal Replacement Products Daily – Add a third healthy, well-balanced meal made at home or through the Optislim HealthyChoice Menu.
3. Balanced Weight Loss- 1 VLCD Meal Replacement Product Daily – Two healthy meals should be added during this time as well and vegetable and fruit consumption can be higher on this level of the plan.
You should always consult your doctor before participating in a weight loss plan. In addition, continue to consume the proper amount of fluid daily and participate in daily exercise.
Consumers like the flavor of the chocolate shake, say that the weight falls of quickly and the program is easy for a busy lifestyle.
There is no ingredient list anywhere to be found. I guess Optislim wants you to take their word for it when it comes to the 25 essential daily vitamins and minerals that are supposed to be available in their VLCD products. No thank you!
There is no fiber in the VLCD products, meaning you have to purchase an addition fiber supplement in order to really receive the nutrients you need each day.
There is no money back guarantee or contact for the company outside of Australia and the UK.
Dig it or Ditch it?
We believe that there are much better options when it comes to weight loss programs. We would recommend staying away from Optislim. Find something that can offer you real proof of results.
