Ingredients and Mechanism of Action
The only ingredient listed in Phentramine is hoodia. It has been suggested only to suppress appetite, nothing else, and it has not actually been successfully proven to do anything. It has not been proven or shown to promote fat burning, faster metabolism, thermogenesis, blood sugar control, or anything else. So we are unsure where Phentramine is basing their claims from.
Unfortunately, Phentramine doesn’t provide a full ingredients list. So there may be other weight loss ingredients in Phentramine, but we wondered why the makers of Phentramine would hide the full ingredient list. Shouldn’t they be proud of their formulation and proudly use it as something to highlight?
It should be noted that some scientists who previously studied hoodia gordonii stated hoodia can produce weight loss results. But, there have been many studies opposing these ideas. In fact, Hoodia users were warned of damage to the liver. However, more research was needed to be completed before releasing it to the public.

Overall Impression of Phentramine:
Phentramine is one of many Phentermine imitators basing their entire formula on an unproven ingredient known as hoodia gordonii. Unfortunately, they have no basis for their claims of any kind of weight loss. Nor do they have any justification for charging about $70 for a formula anyone could find for about $20. If you are looking for a Phentermine alternative, we suggest trying a product with proven ingredients like Phenterpril.
