RazzaDrene is a diet pill designed by German American Technologies (GAT), a longstanding member of the dietary supplement market. Advertised to not only burn fat but to improve the mood, RazzaDrene is arguably one of GAT’s more unique diet pills.
I like the idea of ensuring a positive mood while simultaneously burning fat, so I looked further into RazzaDrene. In this review, I’ll go over RazzaDrene’s availability, ingredients, side effects, and usage instructions.
Before I even start going over RazzaDrene itself, I should tell you about its availability. Oddly enough, I couldn’t find RazzaDrene anywhere on the GAT website. This tells me that either it’s an old product or it has been discontinued.
Because RazzaDrene isn’t sold anywhere officially, you’ll have to find it on a third-party website. Right now, you can purchase RazzaDrene on GNC.com for $49.99 or you can take advantage of some other deals I found.
This is a mid-range price for a diet pill, but let’s check out RazzaDrene’s ingredients before you decide whether it’s worth it.
GAT included just 11 ingredients in the RazzaDrene formula. Some work to help you lose weight while others improve your mood.
Caffeine (125 mg)
One of the most common ingredients in diet pills, caffeine produces moderate weight loss by stimulating the central nervous system. This burns fat and increases the metabolism. However, these effects only occur with larger doses.
Acacia Rigidula Leaf Extract (83.3 mg)
A dietary fiber, acacia increases satiety by expanding inside the stomach. Not only is acacia an effective appetite suppressant, it also reduces cholesterol levels.
Mucuna Pruriens Seed Extract (60 mg)
Better known as cowhage, mucuna pruriens is one of the “feel good” ingredients in RazzaDrene. It treats anxiety and depression. Weight loss is even a side effect.
Citrus X Paradisi (50 mg)
Citrus X Paradisi is actually grapefruit. The benefits of this ingredient include regulated blood sugar levels, lower appetite, and a better-functioning immune system. It has been shown to promote weight loss, but the biological processes that lead to weight loss are not clear.
Zingiber Officinale Root Powder (50 mg)
Also known as ginger, zingiber officinale is a diuretic that promotes urination. This may help you lose water weight, but it won’t do much to jump start your weight loss regimen.
Capsicum Annuum Fruit (50 mg)
Capsicum is the chemical in chili pepper that raises the body’s temperature. A higher core temperature means more fat burning, a better-functioning metabolism, and greater energy to use at the gym.
L-Tyrosine (50 mg)
This amino acid helps you build more lean muscle, but don’t worry—you’re not going to look like Hulk Hogan. Lean muscle improves your body composition and even leads to greater fat burning.
L-Tryptophan (50 mg)
You probably know tryptophan as the amino acid in turkey that makes you want to take a long Thanksgiving nap. This is true, but what you might not know is that tryptophan also improves your mood and lessens anxiety. It is another of the mood-enhancing ingredients in RazzaDrene.
Raspberry Ketone (50 mg)
Raspberry ketone made waves when it was featured on the Dr. Oz show in February 2012. Said to burn fat and increase lean body mass, this chemical has been increasingly included in top-selling diet pills despite limited research.
Saffron (25 mg)
Saffron is another Dr. Oz recommendation. This spice suppresses appetite, which will help you create the calorie deficit you need to lose weight.
Curcuma Longa (20 mg)
You might know this ingredient as turmeric. Turmeric is an Indian spice that increases thermogenesis and therefore promotes fat burning and a faster metabolism.
I like that RazzaDrene lists the ingredient amounts in its formula since many supplement companies choose to keep that information secret. This way we can judge the effectiveness of RazzaDrene.
To that end, many of the ingredients in RazzaDrene are included in their proper amounts, which ensures they will be effective. However, there isn’t enough caffeine in this product to help burn fat effectively. In general, I would say that RazzaDrene will be moderately effective.
Possible RazzaDrene Side Effects
One beneficial aspect of having small ingredient concentrations is that it lowers your risk of side effects.
The most stimulating ingredient in RazzaDrene seems to be caffeine, but because there are only 125 mg there’s only a small chance you’ll experience the jitters and nausea that typically come with it.
The most common side effects of the other RazzaDrene ingredients include gas, bloating, heartburn, and nausea. However, if you make sure to drink plenty of water and eat light foods during the first few days, I don’t think these should bother you too much.
How to Use RazzaDrene
GAT recommends you take one capsule either with breakfast or before exercise. If your body handles RazzaDrene pretty well, you can consider taking a second capsule with lunch. You should never take more than three capsules.
Because RazzaDrene contains some stimulants, don’t use it within five hours of bed time in case it keeps you awake.
My Recommendation on RazzaDrene
I think RazzaDrene has the power to be moderately effective in stimulating weight loss and definitely effective in improving mood. However, there are stronger diet pills and if your primary goal is to lose weight, you may want to look at those.
However, if your main difficulty in losing weight has to do with a negative attitude, RazzaDrene may be able to help. Just make sure you cash in on some of the bargains online.
