Want to Lose up to 30 pounds without dieting? It sounds too good to be true for most people struggling to lose weight, but Sensa manufacturers are adamant that it’s possible with their flagship product: Sensa Sweeteners.

Sensa is a sugar-like substance you are instructed to sprinkle on your food before you eat and as a result, you’re supposed to feel full faster. It’s a completely different approach to weight than you see from more traditional diet pills we highly recommend like Apidextra.

Manufacturers propose that it works by causing your sense of smell to trigger the satiety center in your brain, making you feel full without eating large portions. Thus fewer calories, lead to weight loss.

So is this actually a nice claim without any effect? We’ll find out by exploring exactly how you use Sensa, what makes it work, and whether or not it will lead to the lasting changes you want to see.

How Does Sensa Work?

Sensa is designed to work over a 6-month period, you get 2 shakers you can use each month. Sensa instructs users the best way to ensure you’re always using their products is to keep one shaker at home and the other with you at all times, to help you no matter where you eat.

Using Sensa is as easy as using salt and pepper, simply sprinkle it on your food before you eat. The idea behind Sensa is you don’t have to give up your favorite foods, starve yourself or even change your diet. You’re basically just eating less of what you normally eat because you will feel full faster.

The secret behind Sensa is a combination of maltrodextrin and tricalcium phosphate. Maltrodextrin is derived from corn and is often used as a sugar substitute while tricalcium phosphate increases serum calcium and triggers a chemical in the brain that causes the feeling of fullness.

Sensa Pros

The main strength of Sensa lies in the positivity of its customer success stories. Of course, you’ll find all kinds of positive stories on the Sensa homepage, but just read below and you’ll see others who have left their comments on the benefits they’ve seen from Sensa.

Sensa is easy to use, there’s been studies conducted on the validity of the sense of smell and feelings of hunger. If you actually eat less, you really will lose weight. Basically, it’s that easy.

It’s also not going to change the taste of your food and it’s 0 calories.

Sensa Cons

Because Sensa is sprinkled over the top of any food you eat, there is no incentive to make lifestyle changes that will improve your overall health or help you see lasting results after you quit using Sensa. The best weight loss is a result of exercise and an overhaul in your diet, but Sensa doesn’t require either of these things. Honestly, I think it would be nice to see Sensa explaining that adding regular exercise and eating healthy will actually help you lose even more if you combine it with Sensa.

Additionally, Sensa does not contain any fat-burners or metabolism boosters to stimulate thermogenesis, and the two main ingredients it does have are not completely proven for effectiveness. It’sa just basically, you eat less, you lose weight.

The “study” that Sensa references are fairly biased and do not give any long-term information about Sensa’s effects. It’s one thing to lose weight, but it’s another to keep it off, and Sensa makes us wonder whether or not the formula is truly adequate for the long haul.

If you do lose weight, it won’t be immediate. Some consumers have reported having to wait nearly three months to start seeing results, and most of that weight loss can probably be attributed to healthy habits rather than Sensa itself.

How Much Does Sensa Cost?

Two shakers of Sensa are available for $59.00, and are expected to last for just one month, making Sensa a costly product for only a few packets each month.

Additionally, you should be aware that when you purchase Sensa, you’ll be automatically enrolled in the company’s “auto-ship” plan, which can be difficult to cancel. To prevent any additional charges, some people opt to order with a pre-paid credit card and only have the amount for the initial purchase on the card.

Should I Try Sensa?

There’s little doubt that Sensa can help you lose some extra weight as it helps you eat less. It really is ideal for those who struggle with overeating. But if you still eat when you’re full, this may not be the answer. If you have enough self-control on your own, you may want to try eating less without Sensa. If you feel like you could use the extra help to avoid overeating and consume fewer calories, this may work.

Like other diet products and diet pills, improving your diet and getting regular exercise really are helpful so you see longer-lasting results. Sensa can work for the right person, but it’s not the answer for everyone. If you’re looking for a more traditional diet pill to help enhance your weight loss efforts, we would definitely recommend you try Apidextra by visiting Apidextra.com.

It has taught me to pay attention to what i eat and to change my lifestyle of eating. I always get alot of questions when people see me shake sensa on my food, it gives me a chance to explain how it has helped me to lose weight and hope for others. I love it, its very easy.

BETSY Says:

I am on my third month of Sensa. I have only lost 3 pounds. WeightWatchers was much more effective as you not only lose the weight, you learn how to eat the right foods. I went from Weight Watchers to Sensa because I crave snacks after dinner. Sensa claimed to do that. It doesn’t. I’ll finish the 6 month program and see if I get any results.

Samplerboy Says:

ARE YOU KIDDING? This is an obvious scam if I ever saw one. Almost as bad as Protandim. Maltrodextrin and tricalcium phosphate are VERY inexpensive compounds and are NOT worth $60 a month. If you change your diet and leave out wheat, sugar and starchy vegetables you will lose 10lbs a month. I did it. No gimmicks, no scams.

I got a steal when I purchase my sensa,6 months for $199 GNC. At first I gain 5 pounds. The guy at GNC said I would put on water weight the first month. Then the second month I will notice the weight coming off. I can button my work uniform pants now, and I have lost 10 pounds. A month later got my husband sensa, but the deal was off. now buy one, get second at half price mix or match. He is on his first month and has lost almost 30 pounds. Of course he cut out the beer. I have been trying to lose weight since my youngest child was born and that’s 30 years ago. Thank you sensa for your help, and the guy at GNC for pointing me in the right direction.

I’ve been using Sensa for 12 days and have lost 7 pounds without exercising. I found that I can eat the same things my family does, but just less of it. I found that it helps to put the smaller portions on your plate first and then sprinkle, it saves $$ and you have left overs.

Pamela Says:

I have been on the Sensa program for 11 days, and I have lost 4 pounds. I sprinkle on the Sensa and I get full faster, I can’t even finish my food. I have not changed anything in my eating habits because I wanted to see if it really would work. It does work. I can’t wait to see how much I loose after 6 weeks on the program.

Maureen Says:

I can not believe I lost 6.5 lbs within a week. I did not change my eating habits, in fact I made rich chocolate cookies 2 doz and had at least 8- 10 good size ones.I do notice I am feeling fuller at meals and not having seconds. I love carbs and find sensa is helping me with the cravings. I usually have sweets every day but notice I crave fresh fruit more these days. I am looking forward to losing more weight and becoming healthier a few shakes at a time.Thank you Sensa.

Carlene Says:

I have been on Sensa for three weeks and lost 3 lbs. I have a difficult time losing weight due to thyroid problems. A pound a week makes me happy. I’m going to stay on it for six months and see what happens. I have friends that have lost 10 pounds or more. One of my friends who is on Weight Watchers finally broke her plateau with Sensa after going on it for a few weeks. I haven’t noticed any change in my blood sugars, which is good. Eating properly helps. I do feel fuller using the Sensa. I can hardly wait to see more results.
