Touted as the “Global Diet Sensation” by the makers, Slimshots promises to help you lose weight by decreasing appetite and therefore caloric intake. There are no meetings, no sales agents, no recipes, no calorie counting diaries, and no multi step programs, just one supplement meant to fit easily into your daily schedule. Developed in Sweden and launched in Sweden and France in 2006, it quickly fought its way to the #1 selling spot in French pharmacies. The key ingredients in these mini shots are purified palm oil and oat oil, and it can be taken as a stand alone or with coffee, milk, or yogurt.

The Slimshots website claims that Slimshots contain only three ingredients: palm oil, oat oil, and water. Unlike some other supplements, they do not try to hide behind a long and complicated ingredient list. Likewise, all three ingredients are generally recognized as safe, products can be delivered worldwide within 10 days, and they post some testimonials from happy customers including a 73 year old woman from Auckland.

While Slimshots may be safe, consumers may be sacrificing results for safety. The Slimshots website claims that there are published studies on the appetite suppressing abilities of palm oil and oat oil, however there are no such studies to be found. These two ingredients are most commonly used as emulsifiers or moisturizers in skin creams. There is no official product label, leaving the actual ingredient list open to question, and the website lacks any proof of a satisfaction or money back guarantee.

Slimshots seems to keep it simple. The problem is, in their simplicity, they forgot to include the necessary components to ensure any success. Slimshots will not maximize results, and you may achieve better results drinking more water on a daily basis.

I have just started using Slimshots. I was surprised at the taste. It is not Vanilla, pretty bad. I did not notice alot of change of my apetite.

I just bought my second box of slim shots. In the first box I found three containers that were too thick to drink so I discarded them. Then when I bought my second box yesterday, I went through and checked them and sure enough there were three more that were too thick. I called the company and after a long time on the phone I was told, "no don't use them if they are like that." I told the woman that I can't afford the price of them and then have to throw packets away. She said call Walmart where I bought them. The druggist couldn't figure it out either. Please check your boxes and make sure you do not use the thickened shots if you happen to have them in your box. She didn't tell me what would happen if you do. I'm now confused.

I started taking slimshots and the taste isn't bad you who think it is terrible should try slimfast where you have a chalk taste in your mouth for hours. I do think it help suppress the appetite. I'm only taking one a day but might have to take two to make it through the whole day. It does say it is good for up to 8 hours and I'm pushing on 10-12 hours. No one produce or diet works for everyone.

i have tried slimshots and it does suppress my appetite. although, i havent lost the weight as quickly as possible, it does do what the product states it will do and that is suppress your appetite, it does not promise significant weight loss!

I thought this was to be a liquid...containers say..."shake well" half of the 2 boxes I purchased...when opened looked like cottage cheese. Will never purchase again.

I just started slim shots, and they do work for me. It is only supposed to curve your appetite, not stop it. The taste is better than other stuff I've tried. Try chasing it with water, works for me.

Hey Mary and Barb, I also bought a box and they were thick and jelly like. My first box was ok (both from Walmart). They have helped curb my appetite but now I am concerned about the safety of this product.

I trying the slimshots and ahhh? there horrible it leaves a digustiing taste in your mouth didnt motice a change in my apetite wont waste my money on them again.

Just started using product today. Don't think I will be trying it again, if I can even finish this box. The taste is awful, even when mixed with coffee. Wish I had found this site before I purchased, would not have wasted my money.

Yes I bought it at a sallys beauty store and when I tried it the first day it taste awful tried putting it in slim=fast and it still tasted awful and it has not taken my appetite away in fact I feel it has increased it.Its the #1 worst diet shot. ugggg

I am starting mysecond box.It slows down my appitite rather than speeding up my motabalism like some pills and such do. It works insofar as not being so hungry. I take two a day. I especially recommend this product to people who have to watch out what diet meds they take because it may interfear wqith other health meds they take

I purchased Slim Shots and began using them this week. They work incredible well. I have not used many diet gimmicks before, so I was a bit hesistant to spend the $40.00. I am very happy with the results. I workout very diligently and drink 8-12 glasses of water per day. I have reduced my calorie intake to the range I want without struggle - 1200-1500. Honestly, I could go lower, but I don't feel it would be healthy. I took 2 a day for the first two days, and the past two days, I've taken 1. Works like a charm.
