Superfruit Slim Review

Superfruit Slim

Super Fruits are the planet’s healthiest fruits — that’s why they’re called “Super.” But can Super Fruits burn fat and promote weight loss? The company who makes Superfruit Slim certainly believes so.

“Superfruit Slim is the strongest and most effective superfruit diet pill on the market,” they say. Let’s see if there’s any truth behind this claim.

What Are the Ingredients?

In the ingredient descriptions, the company makes claims about clinical research. Then, they provide research to support the claims. I was very impressed by this. Most companies make research claims and expect consumers to just believe them.

Acai Berry (400 mg) has more antioxidants than other studied fruit. Antioxidants destroy free radicals and prevent oxidative stress. They are linked to heart health, anti-aging, and cancer prevention. However, acai berry is not proven to promote weight loss. It may decrease metabolic disease risk, however.[1]

African Mango (300 mg) increases leptin and adiponectin. Leptin is an appetite-suppressing hormone, which also boosts metabolism. Adiponectin breaks down fat cells and burns fatty acids. Clinical research shows taking African mango daily burns fat to reduce body weight and waist size.[2]

Green Tea (125 mg) contains antioxidants that are proven to burn fat. As we learned from Acai, not every antioxidant burns fat. But catechins (polyphenol antioxidants) can. When study participants consumed green tea extract, their body fat, blood pressure, and LDL cholesterol decreased. Researchers concluded green tea fights obesity and cardiovascular disease.[3]

Raspberry Ketone (200 mg) breaks down fat stores and burns fat. Then, it prevents the body from creating more. Although research hasn’t proven raspberry ketone benefits humans, animal studies show it’s effective for weight loss.[4] Dr. Oz calls Raspberry Ketone a “miracle fat burner.”

Guarana Seed (75 mg) is high in caffeine. This prompted Guarana’s inclusion in energy drinks, workout supplements, and diet pills. Some studies show Guarana burns fat. But these studies combine it with other ingredients. So, Guarana’s weight loss potential remains unidentified.[5]

L-Carnitine (40 mg) causes fat loss and boosts muscle mass, according to one study. But the dosage used was 2,000 mg.[6] Superfruit Slim doesn’t come close to providing this amount. Also, a rat study showed L-Carnitine has no impact on body weight or fat.[7]

1,3,7-Trimethylxanthine (60 mg) is caffeine’s scientific name. Caffeine is the most popular energy-boosting substance, by far. It’s also proven to increase thermogenesis — a fat-burning process. Thermogenesis leads to weight loss. So do caffeine’s appetite-suppressing effects.[8]

Does Superfruit Slim Have Proven Amounts?

One serving is 2 capsules. The company suggests taking 1 serving with water each day before 10am. Superfruit Slim works best on an empty stomach.

Superfruit Slim contains the proven African mango and green tea dosages. No matter what dosage is used, acai berry does not promote weight loss. The raspberry ketone dosages is effective, according to Dr. Oz.[9]

Since Guarana is not proven, there is no recommended dosage. As you already know, the L-Carnitine dosage is way too small. And so is the caffeine dosage. Research shows you need at least 100 mg to stimulate thermogenesis.[10]

Safety and Side Effects

Superfruit Slim has safe ingredients. So, most healthy adults can use it without concerns.

Superfruit Slim might cause side effects due to African mango and caffeine. WebMD.com says African mango might cause:

• Flatulence
• Headaches
• Sleep problems

Caffeine is a stimulant and may cause:

• Jitteriness
• Restlessness
• Insomnia
• Increased blood pressure

60 mg caffeine is not a large dosage. If that’s all Superfruit Slim had, it might not cause side effects. However, green tea and guarana contain caffeine. Superfruit Slim claims to provide the equivalent of 500 mg green tea. I’m not sure how much is caffeine, but it could be between 100 and 300 mg.

Customer Reviews

Other than 3 official website testimonials, there are no user reviews online. And I’m doubtful those 3 testimonials are real and unbiased.

I’m disappointed there aren’t reviews. I was hoping they would tell me if Superfruit Slim is effective. Researching the formula wasn’t enough to convince me.

Where to Buy Online

The only retail site is SuperfruitSlim.com. One Superfruit Slim bottle holds a 30-day supply (60 capsules). Here are the prices:

• 1 Bottle: $49.95 ($4.95 shipping)
• 2 Bottles: $89.95 (free shipping)
• 4 Bottles: $129.95 (free shipping)

The official website features a 30-day 100% money back guarantee. You can get a full refund for 1 used and all unused bottles. The only downside is 30 days is not much time. It starts the day you order Superfruit Slim. With the time it takes to ship, you won’t get to try Superfruit Slim for the full 30 days.

Before returning Superfruit Slim, you must contact customer service and request an RMA number. The phone number is 1-678-929-4170. They don’t provide an email address, but there is an email form on the site.

Recommendation

Only 3 Superfruit Slim ingredients come in effective dosages. The other 4 do not. With 3 effective ingredients, Superfruit Slim may burn fat and suppress appetite. But I’m not 100% confident. If anything, the lack of customer reviews makes me less confident.

I don’t recommend buying Superfruit Slim. It may be an excellent diet pill. But I just don’t know for sure. I prefer to recommend diet pills that instill more confidence. For example, diet pills with several effective ingredients and many positive, unbiased reviews.
