Xenadrine EFX is a potent, thermogenic formula. It claims to use a “revolutionary blend of potent thermogenic compounds.” These include green tea extract, bitter orange extract, theobroma cacoa extract, tyroplex, vitamin C, vitamin B6, pantothenic acid, magnesium, and grape seed extract.
Xenadrine EFX does contain green tea extract which not only has been used to speed up the metabolism, but also as a powerful antioxidant. It also sells through a multitude of third party sellers, meaning there are numerous companies competing for your business and possibly providing a lower price than their competitors.
Xenadrine was one of the companies who used ephedra or ma huang before the ephedra ban. They now emphasize that they don’t use “dangerous ma huang or ephedra”, but neither has anybody else due to the BAN. Companies such as that seem to develop further history of using useless or dangerous ingredients, because they are popular. They don’t do their homework to provide the best care for their consumers or protect the consumer. They just look to make money. As with many others like them, they use a proprietary blend, which is a fancy way of saying they are not going to tell you exactly what they put in the mix. In addition, they use third party sellers to mask and protect themselves from the consequences of their actions and false claims. However, in 2007, the FTC still sanctioned Xenadrine for making false and unsubstantiated claims, and they were ordered to pay at least $8 million in reparations. Because they sell through third party sellers, there is no money back or satisfaction guarantee attached to this product.
As with basically all of the products forced to reformulate with the ban of ephedra, I would not recommend buying their products. Though they have reformulated, they still don’t watch out for the consumer, and they repeat many of the same mistakes they made before. They continue to defraud the average consumer, and in this case, they were sanctioned by the FTC for it.

I took Xenadrine a long time ago, it made me tremble throughout the day- as if I had a caffeine 'high' or something. I didn't take it long enough to have any weight loss- due to the uncontrollable shaking.
