The research they site claims it acts as a carb blocker, and then they include ingredients to speed up the metabolism.

Xerisan does use some of the ingredients required to back up their claims to a degree. For example, phaseolus vulgaris has been popularly used as a carb blocker. Likewise, synephrine has been used by many companies to replace ephedra and speed up the metabolism promoting greater weight loss potential.

Xerisan may use some descent ingredients, but they don’t provide nearly the dosage required for the product to actually be effective. Xerisan tries to promote themselves as the best weight loss product out there. But when it came right down to it and clinical studies were conducted, they did not stand up to the challenge. In fact, Xerisan users lost less than the placebo group, which is at best laughable. Their return policy is skimpy, and I would not waste anything on them.
