Ingredients and Mechanism of Action
Zantrex-3 ingredients include damiana, green tea, schizonepeta, Tibetan ginseng, panax ginseng, maca root, and kola nut. This is an extreme amount of caffeine without the elements to promote weight loss, and Zantrex 3 would be the first to admit all the side effects it could and would have interestingly enough. But they seem to imply that’s the price you pay for great weight loss results.
Safety
Zantrex-3 is not safe to take if:
- You have a pre-existing medical condition such as heart disease
- You have a family history of medical conditions such as heart disease
- You have caffeine sensitivities
- You have high blood pressure
- You have a liver condition
- You are using an MAO Inhibitor
- You suffer from glaucoma
- You have a history of drug or alcohol abuse
Possible Side Effects
- Jitters, anxiety, increased sweating
- Increase in heart rate and blood pressure
- Nausea, stomachache, diarrhea
- Loss of appetite
- Cold sweats, restlessness, shaking, irritability
- Increase in urination
- Dependence
- Caffeine related crashes
Overall Impression of Zantrex-3:
Zantrex-3 has quite a few downsides, and no upsides to it. The interesting thing is that they claim loss of appetite in connection to caffeine would not necessarily be a bad thing. If you use an appetite suppressant, it is controlled and can actually be healthy. When it is a side effect, it can without question go to far and to your body’s detriment. We would not advise using this supplement in any case.
