Acai Fat Burn 3 Review
Though the acai berry may be on its way out the door, Acai Fat Burn 3 is still one of the most popular diet pills sold on Amazon..
Promising acai’s antioxidant power with garcinia’s appetite suppressing effects, Acai Fat Burn 3 is said to enhance a healthy diet while supercharging your metabolism. Manufacturers claim that Acai Fat Burn 3 will even support greater energy and stamina.
Yet is Acai Fat Burn 3 as reliable as it looks?
What’s Inside the Bottle
Acai Fat Burn 3, as its name implies, contains the highly recommended super fruit known as Brazilian acai. The dark red berry is rich in antioxidants, and many consumers love its “red wine and chocolate” flavor. As an added bonus, acai is naturally low in sugar, so you get all the benefits without the extra pounds.
Recent studies suggest that the compounds found in acai “show good activity against cancer cells.”
But as an ingredient for weight loss?
The jury is still out on that one.
“Scientists are learning more about the functional power of superfoods, such as the acai berry,” explain experts at WebMD, “Although acai is touted in some weight loss products, few studies have tested the benefit of acai in promoting weight loss.”
Consequently, I can assume that the acai in Acai Fat Burn 3 is more of a poster ingredient than a proven fat burner. It looks good on the label but contributes little to the overall results.
So what additional ingredients make Acai Fat Burn 3 effective?
These three are listed at LifeSmartLabs.com:
Green Tea. Extracted from the camellia sinensis plant, green tea contains high polyphenol concentrations, which can prevent inflammation and swelling. Furthermore, green tea contains 2% to 4% caffeine to enhance mental alertness and caloric expenditure.
Grapefruit. Grapefruit is a rich source of vitamin c, fiber, potassium, pectin, and other nutrients. The antioxidants in grapefruit protect cells against damage and may reduce cholesterol as well.
Apple Cider Vinegar. Apple cider vinegar contains numerous vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to improve overall health. Though many claim apple cider vinegar as a natural treatment for osteoporosis, weight loss, leg cramps, upset stomach, sore throat, and arthritis, these claims are not scientifically proven.
”and more for weight loss and fat burning”. I have to admit, LifeSmartLabs.com is not the most impressive supplement seller site I’ve seen. Ingredient descriptions are vague at best while product descriptions are rife with spelling mistakes and grammar errors. The website implied that Acai Fat Burn 3 contained additional “antioxidant capsules” to promote weight loss but failed to specify what these ingredients are.
Consequently, I had to turn to secondary information sources to see what other ingredients were in Acai Fat Burn 3.
Supposedly, Acai Fat Burn 3 also contains:
Garcinia Cambogia. An exotic fruit in South India, garcinia cambogia inhibits lipolysis, promotes fat burning, and increases serotonin. Developing research suggests garcinia might control appetite as well, but further human trials are needed.
Caffeine. Caffeine stimulates the central nervous system to improve physical and mental performance.
Kelp. Kelp is high in iodine, which supports a healthy metabolism.
However, since there is no reliable ingredient list available, I can’t help but wonder if these ingredients are really inside Acai Fat Burn 3 or if there are additional ingredients not included in this list.
When I asked customer support about the ingredients in the formula, they didn’t answer my question. Instead, they merely stated, “We do not give out medical advice, you would need to check with your doctor since we are not qualified to give medical advice.”
What About Safety?
I’m naturally a little hesitant about recommending proprietary blends due to safety concerns, especially when caffeine is involved.
Though caffeine is safe when used appropriately, high caffeine dosages can cause insomnia, nervousness, restlessness, stomach irritation, nausea, vomiting, and increased heart rate.
Stephanie at Amazon.com stated, “after just a few days into the bottles, even at a lower dosage following the directions, I felt like I was constantly about to vomit and have diarrhea. Not a pleasant experience unless you can just sit in your house all day.”
Since we don’t know how much caffeine is in Acai Fat Burn 3, you’ll want to approach this supplement with caution.
Is Acai Fat Burn 3 Easy to Use?
Like the ingredients, Acai Fat Burn 3’s usage instructions are incomprehensive. Supposedly you can take “2 caps per daily serving” but it’s up to you to determine a time.
Most consumers reported best results when taking Acai Fat Burn 3 before or with meals. To start, try taking 1 capsule before breakfast and 1 before lunch.
If you experience negative side effects, feel free to cut the dosage to just 1 capsule per day.
Additionally, avoid taking Acai Fat Burn 3 within 5 to 6 hours of bedtime.
Acai Fat Burn 3 is one of the most affordable diet pills available
At LifeSmartLabs.com, you can buy Acai Fat Burn for $29 for a 3-bottle package. Amazon.com offers the same package for $34.99, or you can buy a Acai Fat Burn 3 combo with Hoodia Ultra 2000 for only $29.
If you’d like to order a single bottle of Acai Fat Burn 3 rather than buying in bulk, then you can find it at eBay.com for an average of $18. However, this option is more expensive per bottle.
Is There a Guarantee?
As far as I could tell from the company website, Life Smart Labs does not offer a money-back guarantee on their products.
Just to make sure, I emailed customer support (and within hours) they responded with, “we also can not guarantee that it will work for you nor do we offer free trials.”
Additionally, most second-party distributors do not offer guarantees on their products either – so you better read the fine print before you purchase.
However, I think the low price and easy purchasing don’t require a guarantee anyway. After all, it may cost more in shipping and handling to return it than it did to order Acai Fat Burn 3 in the first place.
Should You Trust the Manufacturers?
According to LifeSmartLabs.com, “Life Smart Labs are committed to providing honest, knowledgeable, and courteous service to each and every patron.” Furthermore, it is a “mid-sized, family owned business” interested in providing consumers with “top-quality products.”
On the other hand, I can’t help but question their methods when they stated they had no scientific evidence to back their products.
“Please note: We do not have scientific evidence that our products work but we do get many favorable comments back from customers about many of our products. We estimate that clinical testing would cost millions of dollars and we would rather invest in product development and let the products speak for themselves rather than conduct clinical testing.”
To take matters further, spelling and grammar were completely thrown out the window when they wrote this description about Acai Fat Burn 3:
“helps lose weight due and naturally boosts metabolism. Acai’s diet, weight loss benefits are well know but the benefits don’t stop there. Acai shlps supply greater energy/stamina. Detox and
Cleanse your body with Acai Fat Burn #3 TM High quality Acai like ours comes with natural vitamins and iron When you purchase Acai Juice Extreem TM, Product name is trademark protected, resale is strictly prohibited.”
As if that weren’t bad enough, the company is completely “web-based,” so you can only contact them via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. No telephone information or mailing address is provided.
Fortunately, customer service if prompt to respond to inquiries (within hours), but their answers are often vague and discouraging.
In fact, customer service practically told me to buy a different product, “we suggest your[sic] purchase a different product from a different seller that you are more comfortable with.”
After a bit of digging, I also found a lawsuit involving Zachary Hallstrom and Life Smart Labs, Inc. It involves “false patent marketing.” But then again, Zachary Hallstrom has over 10 different cases against various supplement sellers over patent infringement, which makes me wonder if the lawsuit is really the company’s fault or simply an angry consumer looking to make extra cash.
Is Acai Fat Burn 3 Worth it?
Acai Fat Burn 3 has me baffled.
On one hand, nearly 200 out of 378 reviews on Amazon.com gave Acai Fat Burn 3 a five-star rating; many of which touted Acai Fat Burn 3 as a great tool for weight loss. It sells for a low price and offers great ingredients for weight loss.
On the other hand, Acai Fat Burn 3 has unknown ingredient concentrations, unreliable manufacturers, and the potential risk for side effects.
The pros and cons of this formula are fairly balanced. Though I don’t feel comfortable recommending it, I don’t have a problem with consumers trying it for themselves either. Acai Fat Burn #3 can be found on Amazon for $34.99..
