Green Coffee Ultra Review

Green Coffee Bean extract is rapidly becoming the next big thing in the weight loss industry.

There are dozens of new products hitting the market including Green Coffee Ultra.

But not all of these green coffee diet pills are going to deliver the results you’re looking for.

The makers believe Green Coffee Ultra works because it contains the highest-quality, clinically proven green coffee bean extract, but is there real truth to that or is it just marketing.

So, before recommending Green Coffee Ultra, I wanted to make sure you’re really going to get something to help you lose weight.

What Exactly is Green Coffee?

Before coffee beans are roasted, they are green. This color is partly due to the coffee beans’ high chlorogenic acid content. Chlorogenic acid is an antioxidant, believed to promote weight loss.

Here’s how it works:

1. Chlorogenic acid slows glucose release into the bloodstream
2. The body burns stored fat rather than glucose
3. Metabolism increases and leads to fat loss

Substances that lower blood glucose are often linked to appetite suppression. So, besides burning fat, chlorogenic acid may help consumers cut calories.

Roasting coffee beans destroys most nutrients and almost completely depletes the chlorogenic acid content. Green Coffee Ultra contains GCA, a green coffee extract with 50% chlorogenic acid. It’s the most potent green coffee extract available.

Clinical Studies Conducted on Green Coffee Bean Extract

During a 22-week study, researchers gave study participants a placebo, low-dose GCA (700 mg), or high-dose GCA (1,050 mg). The participants did not change their diet or exercise habits.

The people taking GCA experienced reductions in…

• Weight: 12.6 – 22.8 lbs.
• BMI: 2.07 – 3.77 points
• Body fat percentage: 2.44% – 6.44%
• Heart rate

No adverse side effects were experienced by any participants.[1] But just because green coffee has been shown to improve weight loss, doesn’t mean every product that comes along is going to help in the same way or even at all. It’s important to keep that in mind.

So Does Green Coffee Ultra Really Work?

The Green Coffee Ultra bottle holds 60 800-mg capsules. “Dr. Oz recommends taking 800mgs two times a day, 30 minutes before meals,” it states on

I’m not sure where this recommendation is coming from. First, the 22-week study used 700 mg and 1,050 mg, not 1,600 mg. Second, Dr. Oz conducted his own 2-week study with green coffee. Participants in the study took 1,200 mg daily.[2] So you may not need the 1,600 a day to see results.

And while this has a good amount of green coffee bean extract, it doesn’t include anything else. IF you’re looking for a complete diet pill that contains green coffee, you may want to find something else.

Safety and Side Effects

Study participants didn’t experience side effects while taking green coffee. However, I’ve heard consumers say they’re concerned because Green Coffee Ultra contains caffeine.

If you are sensitive to caffeine or other stimulants, you know what side effects it causes…

• Jitters
• Restlessness
• Sweating
• Dehydration
• Insomnia
• High blood pressure

Well, the good news is, green coffee beans contain very little caffeine. It’s not until they are roasted that the caffeine content goes up. According to the product label, Green Coffee Ultra contains just 20 mg caffeine. This is less caffeine than the average can of soda holds. It’s a safe amount and very unlikely to cause side effects.

Suggested Use

The company recommends taking 2 capsules Green Coffee Ultra daily. I suggest starting with 1 capsule. It provides 800 mg, which is a proven amount. If you want a stronger dosage, you could take your chances with 2 capsules a day.

Study participants did not diet or exercise. However, eating healthy food and staying active are essential for significant, long-term weight loss. I recommend using Green Coffee Ultra in conjunction with diet and exercise.

The Cost

This is really where I struggle with Green Coffee Ultra, You’ll pay up to $50 a bottle for this weight loss product, but if you do a simple search for a green coffee bean extract supplement, you can find some for less than $15 for more capsules with the same amount of green coffee bean extract. Either way you’re only getting the green coffee bean extract when a number of additional ingredients could also increase the effectiveness of the green coffee.

If you want to see the pricing for yourself, there are 2 places to buy Green Coffee Ultra:

• $49.95
• $49.95

These are the prices for 1 bottle. If you buy 2 bottles, the price on both sites is $69.90.

The official website gives consumers the option to join a 3-month, 4-month, or 6-month program. There aren’t any auto-ship programs or free-trial scams at least.

On weekdays, the company ships within 24 hours. Delivery usually takes 4-5 business days. The shipping cost varies depending on how many bottles you buy. The cheapest rate is $6.95.

Is There a Guarantee?

Yes. does come with a 60-day money back guarantee. But before you return the diet pill, you have to call or email their customer service and request a Return Authorization Number (RAN).

• Phone: 888-808-7855
• Email:

Write the RAN inside or outside the package with your name and address. You must return all the bottles you ordered. But only 1 used and all unused bottles will receive a full refund.

Final Say

Green Coffee Ultra’s one and only ingredient is proven to be safe and effective. I’m pleased to see that the company uses GCA, which was used in the clinical study. My only issue is you can get this same amount of green tea for significantly less.

Before you buy Green Coffee Ultra, I suggest looking at other options. Find a green coffee diet pill with safe, effective dosages and look for products with additional ingredients to support your weight loss efforts. You can easily more for your money either in a different green coffee bean extract supplement or in a weight loss supplement made with green coffee and fortified with additional weight loss ingredients.
