Tried N True Fat Loss Solution eBook Review
The Tried N True (TNT) Fat Loss Solution eBook provides a very interesting approach to weight loss. Unlike diet pills that promise to do all of the work for you, this program provides all of the “secrets” of weight loss and why you have failed to lose it in the past.
According to Terry, the creator of this program, weight loss can be quick, easy, and done from your home. Instead of working out for hours or even going to the gym, all you need to do on the TNT program is spend a half hour a day doing the exercises outlined in the TNT eBook.
On the TNT website, Terry promises that after finishing the three phases of his plan, you will have a body that is to die for. Sounds easy enough, right? Let’s take a closer look.
The TNT eBook takes a great approach to weight loss that really is ‘tried and true’: diet and exercise. Instead of hoping that the pounds magically melt off of your body, the TNT eBook outlines a strict diet and exercise plan.
Though the website does not mention it, the TNT program is clearly based on the simple mathematics that the amount of calories taken in must be smaller than the amount of calories that are put out through exercise and daily activities.
One major truth that he points out is that muscle mass will help you burn more calories when you are doing absolutely nothing. This is completely true. During an hour-long weight-lifting session in the gym, your body will burn far fewer calories than you would on, say, a treadmill or elliptic al machine.
After you get home, however, if you just lifted weights, your body will continue to burn calories long after you have stopped. On the other hand, if you spent an hour on the treadmill, your body does not continue to burn calories at a high rate.
Another good thing that Terry points out on the TNT eBook website is that low-carb diets are not good for your body. This is true as well, because carbohydrates are what give your body quick energy. Those who cut carbs from their diet are missing out on massive amounts of energy needed for exercise.
While the TNT program is based on some great ideas, there are a few claims that I disagree with.
First, the TNT program is based on “secrets” of weight loss. In reality, the rules of losing weight are simple: eat food that is nutritious, lift weights 2-3 times a week, and do cardio at least 4-5 times a week. It’s hard work, but it is attainable. It’s also not a secret.
Another thing that I take issue with is the claim that “long marathon cardio session DON’T WORK!” As someone who as actually trained for and run marathons, I can guarantee that this is absolutely false.
The TNT eBook website claims that shorter bursts of speed burn more calories. While this may be true, a 30-minute session of short bursts of speed cannot compete with the amount of calories you will burn on a long run. As long as you are doing cardio, you will burn calories. If you prefer a more strenuous 30-minute session to a moderate 8-mile run, then the TNT program might be right for you.
The TNT Fat Loss Solution eBook probably works! If you are ready to lose weight the good old-fashioned way but want to be guided through it, the TNT program is probably right for you. You won’t get miracle results overnight, but it will definitely help you lose weight.
